Overview

The OMNI-85 is the third generation “V3” of the very popular router/device mounting antenna from Poynting. The OMNI-85 is a broadband omnidirectional antenna that covers all current 4G/LTE and future 5G frequency bands. The broadband performance of the antenna enables operation from 617 to 3800 MHz with a peak gain of 3.5 dBi across the operating bands. This means that the antenna can be used in all parts of the world and is backwards compatible with 2G, 3G and 4G technologies. The antenna is independent of the ground plane and can be mounted directly on any device that uses an SMA socket. The ankle base of the antenna allows several installation angles to adapt to the orientation of the device.
