Overview

The HELI-31 is part of a series of MiniHELI antennas. These antennas are only mini compared to their bigger brothers, making them antennas ideal for mine tunnels where IoT/M2M connectivity is used, and can also be used for coverage in the tunnels. The HELI-31 is an ultra-wideband antenna that radiates in one direction (i.e. unidirectional), making it ideal for coverage from 1700-7200 MHz. These antennas are typically used for the deployment of IoT in tunnels to enable telemetry and mine automation. This broadband helical antenna propagates around tunnel curves in a non-line-of-sight scenario and provides immunity to many signal-jamming interfering objects such as trains and drilling machines that appear to obscure the tunnel.
