Nuremberg, October 2021 – Children suffer particularly in emergency situations.
With the “Cuddly Ralphi “, Kinderhilfe Eckental has been supporting sick and injured children who need emergency treatment for years.
The cuddly teddy bear brings the children great joy, gives them security and helps them overcome pain and anxiety.
ASCEND GmbH has now supported the campaign with a donation of EUR 500.
“As a result, 50 new comfort teddies have already been delivered to hospital emergency rooms and rescue services in the Nuremberg district,” says Corinna Steffl, Office Manager of Kinderhilfe Eckental GmbH.

“The donation is a matter close to our hearts,” says Christian Heckel, Managing Director of ASCEND GmbH.
According to an emergency doctor, the fluffy comforters are a sedative that is free of side effects and takes away the horror of an accident and the fear of hospital for injured children.
They can use them to show them where it hurts and the doctor treating them can demonstrate how to listen to the heart and lungs or apply a bandage.
In this way, the moment loses its horror and traumatization is prevented.
