EPX: Extremely powerful SD-WAN platform
The EPX is a fast, powerful and versatile SD-WAN router. It combines a variety of WAN options. These range from LTE-A to satellite modems and fixed networks. The router can combine up to 18 LTE-A connections to guarantee complete connection security.
Future-proof design
The EPX supports a FlexModule to customize the router according to your needs. This gives you the additional ports you need or new technologies (such as 5G) as soon as they are available. You simply plug the replacement module into the EPX and expand the device accordingly without having to buy a new router.

Gigabit bandwidth on the move
In its cellular configuration, the EPX is the most powerful wireless SD-WAN router in the industry. It combines the bandwidth of up to 18 connections, supports 36 SIM cards and offers gigabit bandwidth on-the-go.
Bandwidth bundling
Combine the bandwidth of several mobile connections to create an ultra-fast, stable data connection. Keep bandwidth-hungry and latency-sensitive tasks alive without requiring fixed lines.
Hot failover
Hot Failover manages secure tunnels across all available WAN connections. This keeps the network alive even if a connection should fail. In this case, SpeedFusion immediately forwards the data traffic to a functioning tunnel.
Provider-neutral
SpeedFusion is provider-neutral. By combining the networks of several mobile phone providers, the probability of running into a blind spot or network congestion is minimized.
WAN Smoothing
WAN smoothing is used to assign the network traffic to the WAN connection with the lowest latency. This allows you to use multiple WAN connections to obtain a single, interference-free data stream. |
Use cases
Commercial LTE & LTE for public safety
Equipped with an EPX, the mobile control center can combine private LTE, commercial LTE and satellite connections to establish a fast and uninterrupted VPN connection to the mobile control center as well as to patrol vehicles. This means that patrol vehicles benefit from increased mobile phone coverage. Even if they are outside the range of a mobile phone provider, other providers can still be reached.
SD-WAN
Backhaul
for ISP
Whether providing internet services with an SLA or setting up a video surveillance streaming network, ensuring service continuity is crucial. With the EPX, service providers can set up a flexible SD-WAN backhaul to the main network and thus integrate as many Ethernet, fiber optic and mobile connections as necessary. This guarantees fast and reliable connectivity.
Mobile radio
Backup for branch offices
With its modular architecture, the EPX allows branch offices to add WAN connections of any type as they grow. With the ability to add cellular modules, the EPX also provides as much cellular connectivity as needed to keep the corporate network operating at full speed, even if the fixed line connection fails.
Construction sites
and events
With the EPX, temporary locations can be connected in just a few minutes. The EPX can combine up to 18 mobile connections for high-resolution video streaming and high-volume data transmission. To simplify management, the EPX can also host Docker containers so you can host your own custom apps on-premises.
